March 10th – Kamloops Community Drum Circle – We’re celebrating UJAMMA time and International Women’s Day

UJAMMA Drum Circle Dates: Jan. 20th, Feb.17th, March 10th, April 7th, April 28th

March 10th is celebrating unity and the bread and roses theme of International Women’s Day. Please invite all you know. Please email Raven and let her know you are attending so she has enough bread treats to share with the participants.

Community Drum Circle – for all levels and ages! It’s a time to celebrate with music and create rhythms together. Come and be a drum buddy! Bring your drum, percussion, body beats, and dancing feet!

Circle Times: 1:30 – 3:00 on certain Sundays, put the above dates on your calendar! :)

Where: Come and join us at the new Let’s Move Studio, #200-1201 Summit Drive, Scotia Bank Building Upstairs. The entrance is through the door on Summit, there’s a door awning that says Let’s Move. There are chairs and floor guards( blankets) there, courtesy of Let’s Move.

Fee: $5 circle fee per adult, exact change please. Children must be with their parents. Family circle fee for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 is $10.

Call Raven ahead of time if you need to rent a drum, that way you know there’s one waiting just for you! The usual fee for drum rentals in circle time is $5, but talk to Raven about other arrangements if needed.

REMINDER: Monthly drum rentals are available at Long and McQuade Music Store. The cost is about 15 to 20 dollars a month.
